Everyday LIPS

I had a friend years back quote, "A look is never finished without the perfect lip color" and I have to say- she is absolutely right. I used to never really care about my lips or what I wore on them, but years later I have come to realize they can totally transform a look. To be honest, I'm not big on bold colors. I tend to gravitate to colors that are "my lips but better." AKA- pinky nudes! Today I have put together a list of my literal everyday colors.

*I always prime my lips with a chapstick. The one I am currently using is Burt's Bees Peppermint.

1. MAC's matte lipstick in "Velvet Teddy" accompanied by MAC's lip liner "Soar"

This combo is my absolute most worn. Although Velvet Teddy is considered a "matte" it is not drying on the lips in the slightest. 

2. Covergirl's lipstick in #265 "Romance Mauve"

My sister actually turned me on to this color. She was getting ready one day on FaceTime and I was obsessed with her lip color!

3. DOSE of Colors glosses in "Messy Bun" and "On Repeat"

If i'm in a glossy mood, I will use either of these accompanied with my MAC lip liner in "Soar" for quick lip. I am in LOVE with the formula and look of these two glosses.

4. NYX Lingerie shimmer glosses in "Honeymoon" and "Bare With Me"

Once again, if i'm in a glossy mood I will use one of these! These are shimmers, which I used to really hate. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and grab two different glosses to give my lips a shimmery pop!
